Commercial Cleaning service opens in Anthem

Next to Godliness Commercial Cleaners, Anthem’s first commercial cleaning business, opened last month offering services that are, simply, divine.

 

Anthem resident Denver Stewart founded the business after being laid off from his job as a supervisor in the construction industry. Interested in becoming his own boss, Stewart said he looked at the needs of the community and realized local businesses had to bring in cleaning services from Phoenix.

 

A founding member and leader in a local church, Stewart said he prayed about opening the business and that’s when the name, Next to Godliness, and the tagline, “We’ll clean the heck out of your facilities” came to him. God, he said, has a sense of humor.

 

Offering high quality services with a high degree of integrity is the focus of Next to Godliness Commercial Cleaners. “Our customers are our neighbors and we don’t ever want to let them down,” Stewart said.

 

Stewart is retired from the United States Air Force where he held a top secret clearance and has been a member of local churches for 10 years. “If that’s not reference enough, you can ask my wife, she’ll tell you the truth about me,” he said.
